What is Subtraction?

Subtraction is when we take things away to find out how many are left.
When we subtract, we start with a number and take some away. The answer is called the difference. Let's learn subtraction with numbers up to 5!

How to Subtract

1️⃣ Start with a number (like 5 apples)

2️⃣ Take some away (eat 2 apples)

3️⃣ Count what's left (3 apples left!)
